The EWI Society

John Edwin Mroz

To preserve the stories and the friendship of the EastWest Institute’s (EWI) global community, the EWI Society actively collects oral histories from policymakers, donors, board members and staff as well as providing an engagement platform for EWI alumni and friends.

EWI Society members will be connected to the EWI family and organizations carrying on EWI’s legacy: Stimson Center, Observer Research Foundation Center, Atlantic Council and George H. W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations. The EWI Society is the best way to stay informed about the Mroz Institute’s programming, participate in events, be involved with the History and Archives Project and keep in touch and communicate with members of the EWI family, long-time and new. We have set the date for our 2022 EWI reunion at the College of Charleston.

Please hold the dates, March 20-22, 2022, and join us in celebrating EWI and its many accomplishments. There will be panels and discussion sessions on international topics of vital importance. There will be opportunities to experience the EWI archives/history project and contribute to its oral histories. There will be time for networking with the members of the EWI Society and a special reunion for EWI alumni/emeriti. And, of course, you will be able to enjoy Charleston at a great time of the year on one of the most beautiful campuses. We look forward to sharing the events schedule in the months to come.
